Well hello everyone,
It has been such a long time since I've blogged, so I figured, what a great way to start the New Year. (yes I know January is almost over) Well we had an eventful 2012. Our sweet girl turned 3 and our precious baby boy was born in July. Charlie finished his apprenticeship and became a Journeyman, and I got the greatest gift of all, being able to stay home and be a mom and wife. And I have to tell you, I am loving every minute!
Jilly is really excelling in school. She loves it. She has made a lot of new friends and always asks if its school today. She knows just about all her letters and sounds and counts to 25. I can't believe she is going to be 4 in 3 months. Where did the time go!? Kindergarten next year???!!! I'm so not ready. I want so badly for her to stay my little girl forever.
Kyler boy is growing like a weed. He is 6 months next week! (crazy right) He is rolling over and so close to sitting up like a big boy. Unfortunetly, him and sissy were sick this week. :( They both had an upper respirtory infection and Jilly had an ear infection. Jill is doing just fine, but Kyler is still battling the stuffy nose. Poor kid cant breathe!
The kids had a great Christmas, and Jilly was alot of fun this year. She got a brand new bike from Santa and a Princess Little People Castle from Gma Pam. She got spoiled rotten. Kyler mostly got clothes, but boy did he need them. He is in 9-12 month clothing already!!! Its so funny to me because Jill was so small as a baby and Kyler so big! Everyone jokes he will be a football player! Guess we will have to wait and see!
Charlie was laid off from work for about 5 weeks. But he started back today, thank goodness. God is good, and he does provide. It was nice having Charlie home for that long, but our bank account was sure starting to suffer. I am really trying to have a healthier lifestyle this year. Eating healthier, getting active. I really want to lose this baby weight! Wish me luck, because it is not easy!
Well thats about all thats new here, as always thanks for reading and take care and God Bless!

A Few of my Favorite Things...
Well these last few weeks have been pretty busy! Jilly is busy with school and loving every minute! And Mr. Kyler is growing like a weed! He just had his 2 month checkup and he weighs a whopping 14lbs! and is 22in long, he's in the 97 percentile for everything!! The only thing we are having to work on is he is seeing a chiropractor for his neck. He likes to turn it to his right side and he's always looking that way. So he is getting adjusted and will hopefully get fixed soon. His nerves are pinching and thats what is causing him to look that way. They said he was probably laying like that in my tummy and thats why he likes to look that way.haha. But we will get it fixed!
Charlie is working really hard, I love him so much! he is about to turn 25 on Tuesday! Me and Jill are going to make him a German Chocolate Cake since thats his favorite! I'm not sure what to get him though, guys are so hard to buy for! (at least mine is!) Jill is pretty set on being Ariel for Halloween. And not sure what to do for little man. Any ideas?
I've just been busy being a mom. Taking care of 2 is definetly alot harder than 1!haha. But I love it! I am able to nurse mr. and I'm so happy. Although I'm having a hard time losing the baby weight. I don't think I've lost anything since I had him.:( I am walking and doing alot of ab work outs!(which kick my butt) So I'm hoping the weight will start to shed. I'm ready to fit in my old jeans and get rid of the yoga pants!lol Anyway, lately I've had a few things that I have been favoring, so I thought I would share them with you!

The birth of our son
Well our life has changed drastically over the last year. I can't believe how long it has been since I've blogged. Well since last year, a lot of new things have happend. I got pregnant, quit my job and we welcomed a beautiful baby boy into the world on July 28, 2012. Kyler Jax was born at 11:42 pm weighing 7lbs 11oz 19.5 inches long. He is beautiful. God has truly blessed our family. Well this pregnancy sure was different from Jillian's. Jilly was born 4 weeks early weighing only 5.5lbs, and I had an epidural with her. Kyler on the other hand was a different story. We actually ended up at the hospital the day before for a false alarm. I thought my water had broke but it turned out it wasn't water. Boy was I shocked. I had been having contractions really bad all that day, so when the hospital sent me home I was so upset because I knew I was in labor. So we went home and I woke up the next morning with even greater contractions. I wasn't feeling well but I really wanted to get things started. So I went next door and walked the neighbors stairs for about a half hour and came home and rested. Oh and during the day I think I took like 8 baths.haha. It really helped the pressure and relaxed me. Okay so it wasn't 8 but I did take 3. Around 9:30pm I decided to take another bath to relax before bed. And while I was sitting there, I felt a POP! It scared me at first and then I realized, "Oh my gosh I think my water broke!" so I call Charlie and he comes in and I get out and tell him "I really think my water broke this time." So he says okay lets go. Anyway, so I bend down to get dressed and all this water comes out, so I knew, our boy is on his way.
So as were driving my contractions are intensifying...ALOT. We get to the hospital and I tell them, I need my epidural right away. I knew by the time they got everything together and ready that I would need it. I never remembered my contractions so bad with Jill, probably because my epidural kicked in before they really hurt. Well finally they moved me into labor and delivery i'm almost in tears with pain, and I keep asking for the epidural. Well apparently the anestesiologist was in a C-Section room giving someone else hers. Now what I forgot to tell you was, when we got to the hospital around 10pm (a half hour after my water broke) I was already dialated to 5. Well, time just seemed to fly by after that. As I'm screaming for my drugs, the nurse doesn't say a word and that's when I knew I wasn't getting my epidural. She checks me again around 11 and says your at 9cm. Imagine the shock I felt when she said that. The nurse leaves the room and says "get me a doctor NOW!" Luckily my Doctor made it in time and when she got there it was time to push. Two pushes later Kyler Jax made his way into the world. He was perfect. I couldn't imagine loving another child the way I love Jilly but it was just amazing. Its a true testiment to how wonderful God is. I really didn't think I could give birth without the drugs, but i'm so glad I was able to endure it. I really think God was with me and spared me from a terrible long delivery and I'm so blessed.
I'm not sure if God will bless us with another child, but I am perfectly content with the two he has given us. This world is a scary place and it terrifies me what it will be like when my kids hit their teenage years, but I know God will help Charlie and I lead them in the right direction.
Oh! On a side note Charlie and I celebrated our 5th year wedding anniversary this year and we both are turning 25. Time just flies and I am so thankful for everyday I am here with my family and friends. I thank you all for reading and taking part in our life journey. May God Bless you all.
